Elke Berger has been working as a research fellow at TU Berlin’s Department of Health Care Management since November 2016. Previously she has worked as a social worker in different areas of health care and the last six years in the Charité hospital. During her work she studied at Berlin School of Public Health and received her Master’s degree in Public Health as a stipendiary holder of Deutschland-Stipendium in 2016. She wrote her master’s thesis about quality of German hospital care within the project Quality transparency. Now she mainly works on the projects ERIC [2] and K: IDD [3]- both financed by the Innovation Fund of the Federal Joint Committee. Further, she is involved in the Corona Pre-Exploration Project [4] which is being funded within the Berlin University Alliance (BUA).
