Laura Oschmann has been working as a research assistant at the Department of Management in Health Care of the TU Berlin since March 2019.
After completing her bachelor's and master's degree in health economics leading her to study trips to Oslo, Bologna and Innsbruck, she worked in various areas of the health care system. Among other things, she worked in a consulting firm for investor-funded projects with a focus on "Health Policy and Financing", in an Institute for Health Services Research and most recently in a Digital Health Incubator in Berlin.
Thematically, Laura has been intensively involved with the approval, reimbursement and market penetration of digital medical devices and in this context has worked with many startups and established players in the health sector, such as health insurance companies, hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.
At the chair, she is currently responsible for managing the innovation fund project "PROMoting Quality: Intersectoral use of Patient Reported Outcome Measures to increase patient-relevant quality of results" .
